BRHS students to present ‘James and the Giant Peach’

Bordentown Regional High School Theatre Club is set to present James and the Giant Peach.

The play is based on the book by Rolad Dahl, which tells the adventures of James and his insect friends. The performance is suggested for children age four through 10.

Young James Trotter lives with his cruel aunts Spiker and Sponge. He escapes his sad life when he discovers a gigantic, magical peach and its crew of friendly insects. Alongside his new-found friends, James sets off on a wild adventure he will never forget.

This production is directed by senior Simone Parrish and performed by a cast of 14 actors.

James and the Giant Peach is scheduled for 2 p.m. Dec. 7 at Bordentown Performing Arts Center, 318 Ward Ave., Bordentown.

The performance will be followed by cookies and milk with the cast in the cafeteria.

Tickets are $5 and can be purchased in advance at seatyourself.biz/brhs. Tickets will also be sold at the door. Proceeds benefit the BRHS Theatre Club Scholarship Fund.
