The annual July 4 Fish Derby is set to be held at Northern Community Park, with registration beginning at 9 a.m. The State of New Jersey Fish and Wildlife Division will be in attendance at 9:30 to give a presentation and to guide the children in stocking the pond with fish that day. The derby will begin at 10 and continue to noon. There will be door prizes pulled at the conclusion of the derby. Trophies will also be presented at noon to those who have caught the largest fish at the derby.
Bordentown Township is also set to host its summer Arts in the Park Program, which includes both Music in the Park and Movies in the Park. Bordentown Township won the $2,000 application grant that was presented by Sustainable Jersey in March.
