The Burlington County Library System is set to present a variety of reenactors who will bring history to life by portraying famous figures at several library locations, including Bordentown.

The new “Through Their Eyes” series will include presentations by the American Historical Theater. Hear “first-hand” accounts from some of history’s most fascinating people. This program is funded by the Horizons Speakers Bureau of the New Jersey Council for the Humanities, a state partner of the National Endowment for the Humanities.

Registration is not required and admission is free. The first local presentation—on Clara Barton, the Civil War nurse, teacher and founder of the American Red Cross—will be held at the Bordentown branch on Nov. 19 at 7 p.m. A presentation on Abraham Lincoln will be held on Dec. 17 at 7 p.m.
