Concert association announces 36th season

On Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 7 p.m., Danny V’s 52nd Street Band Tribute to Billy Joel comes to Bordentown. The full-scale, six-piece group recreates the performances of Billy Joel. Led by pianist, singer and showman Dan Vechesky (Danny V), the 52nd Street Band is comprised of top New York City metro-area musicians driven to detail in recreating Joel’s music and live stage show. Touring for over 20 years, 52nd Street is the world’s longest running tribute to Joel, performing at venues from Hard Rock Cafes and a variety of casinos to New York City parades and festivals.
On Sunday, November 13, 2016 at 3 p.m., Barbara Trent Sings Just for You. Trent has been a major fixture in the Trenton area music scene for over five decades. She was most recently heard in Bordentown performing at Under The Moon restaurant. Her singing aims to touch the heart and soul of her listeners in very personal ways. Her vast repertoire of R&B, soul, gospel, contemporary hits and classic American standards all center on her personal theme: the importance of love.
Watch Jersey Sound on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at 3 p.m. The award-winning chorus, a member of “Sweet Adelines,” brings outstanding musicianship, memorable repertory, great humor and tremendous vocal quality to every performance. Enjoy a concert of old-time classics, pop, jazz, patriotic and Broadway favorites. In July 2016, Jersey Sound were guest artists at the 16th annual Assisi Performing Arts summer music festival in Assisi, Italy.
On Sunday, April 30, 2017 at 3 p.m., Italian-American tenor Dante Fiore will close out the season. Fiore keeps a busy schedule as a concert artist and leading operatic tenor in the tri-state area. He is planning an afternoon of memorable, fun and romantic songs to help usher in the warmer and brighter days of spring. He and his pianist will be joined by a special guest soprano.
