The First Baptist Church of Bordentown dedicated a Blessing Box on Easter Sunday.

The First Baptist Church of Bordentown has installed a Blessing Box filled with nonperishable food, toiletries, diapers and pet food for those in need in the community. The box is located outside of the church on the corner of Prince and Church Streets in Bordentown. Following the church’s Easter morning worship service, attendees joined Pastor Mark Stauffer as the Blessing Box was dedicated to the memory of longtime member and community leader, Richard Pinter, Bordentown’s Lone Bugler.

The Blessing Box is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to those in the Bordentown community who are in need. Community members can also place items in the box at any time. The sign above the box reads: “Take What You Need, Bring What You Can, But Above All Be Blessed.”
