Informational talk about ELCON's proposed hazardous waste treatment facility
On Tuesday, September 19, 2017 the Bordentown City Environmental Commission will be hosting an important informational and action meeting about ELCON’s proposed hazardous waste treatment and recycling facility at the Keystone Industrial Complex in Falls Township, PA (the former Fairless Steel site). The site is directly across the Delaware River from Bordentown, NJ. The application to build the 70,000 sq. ft. facility includes trucking in over 210,000 tons of hazardous waste per year and burning over a million pounds a day.
Fred Stine, Citizen Action Coordinator, Delaware River Keeper Network will speak at the Earth Talk and will take questions from those attending.Visit Event Website for More Info
