Part of our 'Period Costume Series', Trish Chambers tells a story that takes the listener into the world of Civil War Women. A world that became more complex than knitting socks and baking bread. They were left behind to fend for themselves, to manage homes, business, and plantations. Roles, which up until the war, that had been traditionally performed by men.
